Red Ribbon Initiative – AIESEC UoM

Last Friday I had applied for the post of Organising Committee President (OCP) for the project on Red Ribbon Initiative by AIESEC University of Mauritius.

I went for interview Sunday morning at the Interns House (Beau Bassin) and there were 6 other people who had applied for the post.  In the afternoon, the OCP was selected and…………. it was me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m responsible for coordination of the whole project, responsible for managing my team and also the 15 interns that we are bringing from abroad to Mauritius. They are supposed to do sensitization campaigns on HIV / AIDS in public areas, secondary and tertiary institutions.  It’s a big challenge for me since I am already working for the World Food day on campus, doing my dissertaton and also I have tests and all.
BUT, this is what makes me different from others, because I’M AN AIESECer!!!

AIESEC is the best student organisation I’ve seen so far, am I’m proud to be part of it! :))
